Whiteslade drama is the husband and wife team of Rachel and Jonny
White. Both have both been actively involved in Christian drama
and puppetry since the early 1980s.
Jonny writes the scripts, while Rachel provides the inspiration, the ideas, the support
and the critical appraisal.
Jonny started writing scripts because of the lack
of suitable short dramas available in the early 1990's. At that time, they were
members of Unity Christian Theatre
Company, which Jonny has been leader, director, producer
and general dog's body of since 1996. Unity is currently on
extended Sabbatical due to many young children born to members of the group.
Both Jonny and Rachel are actively involved in their local church, Belper
Baptist Church, where their puppets make regular appearances.
